Solar panels are installed on the roof, and a village generates two or three million kwh of electricity every year! Panzhihua is the first in the province to start the construction of zero-carbon vill

"My family will install a 300-square-meter photovoltaic panel on the roof. After photovoltaic installation, it can save the cost of electricity for home use. The inexhaustible electricity can also be sold to the State Grid, and several neighboring countries will install it." On April 25, Na Shimei, a villager from Hunsala Village, Renhe District, Panzhihua, Sichuan, looked forward to installing photovoltaics as soon as possible.

Red Star News reporter learned from relevant departments of Panzhihua City that on April 25th, Panzhihua took the lead in launching two zero-carbon village pilot projects in Sichuan Province, and Hunsala Village in Dalongtan Yi Township of Renhe District and Longhua Village in Caochang Town of Miyi County became the first batch of pilot villages. The renovation of residential buildings, the installation of solar panels, and the construction of new solar parking lots are all expected to be completed before the end of September this year.
Hunsala Village: The villagers are very supportive.
Mixed Sala Village in Dalongtan Yi Township, Renhe District, known as "the first mango village in Panxi", is a national civilized village, the first batch of rural governance demonstration villages in Sichuan Province and the national rural governance demonstration village, with mango planting and rural tourism as the leading industries.
Hunsala Village, Renhe District
On the afternoon of April 25th, with the roar of machinery, the construction project of "Zero Carbon Dining Bar" in Hunsala Village, Renhe District, Panzhihua officially started. After completion, the "Zero Carbon Dining Bar" will become a tourist reception point in Hunsa Village, creating a healthy and green restaurant. Around the "zero-carbon dining bar", the village will also transform the surrounding houses, install solar panels, build a new solar parking lot, and create a special landscape of "five-color rice" to form a centralized display of "zero-carbon village".
"At first, everyone had a lot of concerns about installing photovoltaics, and they were afraid of doing’ losing money’ business. In order to eliminate doubts, Murakami specially sent staff to answer questions." Na Shimei, a villager, told the Red Star journalist, "After the installation of photovoltaic equipment, the cost of daytime electricity consumption is saved, and the inexhaustible electricity can be sold to the State Grid. Several neighboring countries have to install it, and everyone supports this work."
Effect map of zero-carbon bar in Hunsala village
Two years ago, villager Yang Caiyun installed photovoltaic panels on his roof of more than 120 square meters for power generation. With the good lighting conditions in Hunsala village, these photovoltaic panels generate about 100 degrees of electricity every day on average, saving two-thirds of the electricity bill throughout the year. Zou Shenghong, secretary of the general party branch of the village, said that the village is full of sunshine, and it is often sunny for about 300 days throughout the year, so some villagers thought of using idle roofs for photovoltaic power generation. Yang Caiyun is one of the two villagers who eat crabs first. The actual effect of "saving two-thirds of electricity bill" has a positive role in promoting photovoltaic power generation in Hunsala village.
It is understood that Panzhihua plans to invest 50 million yuan this year to implement 13 zero-carbon village construction projects in four major sectors in Hunsala Village, including two energy projects, and plans to invest 17 million yuan to build 2,100 square meters of photovoltaic projects on the roof of rural houses in the core area and transform 1,500 square meters of public photovoltaic projects; In terms of human settlement project, it is planned to invest 11 million yuan to implement a number of "zero carbon village" supporting projects while upgrading the whole village.
Yin Junxing, deputy director of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Renhe District, said that according to preliminary estimates, after the completion of the project, the annual carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 2,750 tons, and the photovoltaic facilities can generate 2.6 million kWh, which is equivalent to the power generation by burning 800 tons of standard coal; The annual income of photovoltaic facilities is about 1.56 million yuan. At the same time, through photovoltaic power generation for personal use, residents can save 600,000 kWh of electricity every year.
Longhua village:Is speeding up construction.
Longhua Village, Caochang Town, Miyi County, with loquat cultivation as the leading industry, is the famous "100 million village" of loquat in Panxi area and the main producing area of national geographical indication product "Miyi loquat". At present, the scene of the pilot project of zero-carbon village in Longhua Village is busy, and the construction of distributed photovoltaic projects on the roofs of 20 villagers in the core area is accelerating.
Longhua Village, Caochang Town, Miyi County
According to the relevant person in charge of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Panzhihua City, Longhua Village in Miyi County has an excellent ecological background and a good industrial foundation, and its per capita carbon emission is far below the national rural average, which has the conditions for creating a replicable and scalable rural green sustainable development.
It is reported that the total investment of the pilot project is expected to reach 37.77 million yuan, including 15.16 million yuan in the recent demonstration project construction. It is planned to complete the construction of nine demonstration projects in the core area by the end of September this year, including the rural zero-carbon art field, the rural zero-carbon life experience area, the zero-carbon park, the ecological transformation of the river entrance, the rural green residential demonstration area, the ecological smart agriculture demonstration area, and the carbonization machine resource treatment and production waste project, so as to promote the zero-carbon supply of green energy in the village.
Longhua village project renderings
According to the preliminary estimation, after the completion of the project, the carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by 3,150 tons per year, the annual power generation by photovoltaic facilities can reach 3.16 million kWh, and the standard coal can be saved by about 1,050 tons/year.
The relevant person in charge of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Panzhihua City said that the pilot projects of zero-carbon villages in Hunsala Village and Longhua Village are the first demonstrations to achieve the goal of double carbon in rural areas. Panzhihua City will actively explore and study the technical standards for the construction of zero-carbon villages, and introduce the standards and guidelines for the construction of zero-carbon villages in the city, forming replicable and scalable experiences, and providing support for the next step of promoting the construction of zero-carbon villages in the city and the creation of national zero-carbon building demonstration cities.
