What’s the story of Qin Ming’s Life and Death Whisperer? Qin Ming talked to us.

Special feature of 1905 film network A premiere conference was held in the summer. This is also the most troublesome season for forensic doctors. In the air-conditioned auditorium of China Public Security University, Qin Ming stood on the stage, and there were countless younger brothers and sisters who were ready to devote themselves to public security. As the "online celebrity" forensic doctor of Anhui Public Security Department, he was honored to be on the cover of Chang ‘an magazine headed by the Central Political and Legal Committee in 2018.

At that time, he frowned, holding a magnifying glass tightly with disposable gloves, crouching on the ground and posing for a crime scene investigation.

After a year, Qin Ming, with a round face, appeared in front of the police academy students in the whole auditorium, making jokes about his weight and appearance from time to time.

This disciple, who has not been admitted to the highest institution of public security, is trying to introduce his career to the whole society. The image of forensic doctor Qin Ming created by him has gathered a group of supporters through novels and online dramas. Now we are going to let people know this behind-the-scenes hero group through the broader platform of the screen and eliminate misunderstandings in the industry.

Before the interview, Qin Ming was discussing with the staff around him how to prepare some books and "sign them for everyone". Seeing himself in the magazine, he introduced the cause and effect in detail to Hai-shu Li and Huang Yanwei who entered the interview room together.

Forensic Medicine Qin Ming in the Eyes of Jean Qin Ming

This is the first time that Qin Ming has participated in a film project. As a consultant, he cooperated with Hai-shu Li and Yanwei Huang, and extracted elements from twenty cases of the novel The Corpse Whisperer, thus forming the story framework of Qin Ming The Whisperer of Life and Death.

Qin Ming, played by Kevin Yan, accidentally discovers that the "Silent Gymnast" died of murder. With the help of Daisy  and Geng Le, he finally breaks the cocoon, helps to solve the snowstorm murder case that has been dusty for many years, and finds evidence of his teacher’s revenge after the unsolved case.

It is difficult to distinguish the role of forensic doctor Qin Ming from the reality. It is also his own experience to witness his friend lying in the autopsy room at the age of 18 in the novel. In the movie, forensic doctor Qin Ming also faced the pain.

In the interview, Qin Ming rarely talked about the memory left by the bad working environment, and what made him more miserable came from people’s misunderstanding of his career. At the wedding scene, the hand withdrawn by the other party after hearing his work unit made him more uncomfortable than facing the body in hot weather.

The working environment in Qin Ming Life and Death Whisperer looks much better after artistic processing. The bloody visual impact scene that Hai-shu Li and Huang Yanwei thought was "a big problem" was reasonably avoided by means of millions of simulated human specimens and "digging deep into the human nature behind the case". The forensic scene that fills the audience with horror fantasies is more of a foil to the "inhuman" side of Qin Ming’s character. In the film, Qin Ming angrily denounces the vomiting intern girl on the grounds that it will pollute the sampling at the crime scene.

We are all human beings, and I feel sick, and I want to vomit, but I have to endure it. There is no trick to this. Without any psychological preparation and counseling, Qin Ming bluntly said that his psychological endurance was cultivated by appearing in the field again and again. He doesn’t think that forensic doctors have any special training methods to help resist the visual impact brought by the crime scene.

As a film consultant, Qin Ming has several responsibilities. The first is to "train" the creative staff. Let everyone not only follow him in the autopsy room, but also integrate into the role as soon as possible by watching work-related videos.

The reason why The Corpse Whisperer became a phenomenal suspense work is that Qin Ming not only satisfied the readers’ curiosity about the forensic profession, but also distinguished himself from other works, and popularized a lot of forensic knowledge through annotation. In the preparation stage of the script, Qin Ming also checked the knowledge points. "Do everything you can to provide what you can, at least let the professionals not pick anything wrong."

The floating mouth of The Corpse Whisperer is printed with all the new media "contact information" related to Qin Ming. In addition to Sina Weibo and two WeChat stations, there are as many as seven QQ groups named official fans. Group names are also subdivided into adult groups and juvenile groups. Facing the problems related to his fans, Qin Ming frankly admitted that he had to write and have a daily job, and he didn’t communicate with fans much. "These fans are all managed by a brokerage company.". However, the composition of the fan base is clear to him. "There are many people in this age group from college to work."

Qin Ming is not sure whether these fans can turn into movie audiences. He scored 98 points after seeing the movie. "There can’t be a movie with full marks. I hope people who like it can give it to their friends in Amway, and hopes that they don’t like can be tolerated."

After three days’ release, Qin Ming Life and Death Whisperer made a box office of 20.19 million. A forensic friend of the reporter participated in the movie on the day of its release and talked about some minor problems in the details of the film from his own point of view.

The most dramatic thing is that Qin Ming’s personal heroism tendency in the film is obvious. In the original work, Qin Ming, a forensic doctor, is knowledgeable, but he doesn’t involve arresting suspects and participating in the trial. In reality, there are special people in charge of these tasks. What really needs to be shown more is Qin Ming’s work in the post of forensic doctor, and this aspect is not shown much in the film.

In reality, the center of the scene of the murder case is the corpse, and the only policeman who comes into contact with the corpse is the forensic doctor, who is also the role of mastering the most critical information in the whole murder case and plays a great role in the detection of the murder case. Therefore, the main work of forensic medicine is mainly divided into three parts, and the injury identification accounts for the highest proportion of the workload. Every year, it is a great workload for forensic medicine to type identification documents. Secondly, the preliminary investigation and autopsy of abnormal death, when it is determined that homicide is ruled out, autopsy can no longer be carried out.

The autopsy with the biggest visual impact in the film is mainly about homicide cases, which accounts for about 38% of the forensic work, so the forensic doctors who have examined thousands of bodies have roughly more than 300 autopsies.

In addition to the above three tasks, the forensic doctor needs to be on duty every day to ensure that a special person can appear on the scene 24 hours a day. Therefore, it is completely impossible for many other departments to intervene.

Forensic friends are quite satisfied with the contents of autopsy and measuring the weight of human organs in the movie, and think it is more in line with the actual situation. However, the performances of starring Kevin Yan and Daisy  are somewhat unsatisfactory. Qin Ming portrayed by Kevin Yan is not picky in appearance and cold temperament, but it is obviously a big loophole to scare others into saying yellow body fat is white at the dinner table. In the situation of temporary blindness, it is unreasonable for Qin Ming to put it into his mouth accurately without touching the spoon first.

At the press conference, Daisy  mentioned a very absurd scene in the studio: on her birthday, she ate a birthday cake and played her own death. But she didn’t look like a corpse at all after being drowned and dumped on the beach. She studied medicine, but her bachelor’s uniform was liberal arts.

Qin Ming played the role of a fireman in the movie, and he joked that he had to shoot nine strokes because of his "poor acting skills". However, he also thinks that as a "little common people", he can participate in the filming that he didn’t even dare to think about before. After going through the filming process, he also knows that it is not easy for film and television workers. On the stage, he stood up straight, saluted all the film masters and thanked them for speaking for forensic workers.

Post-forensic doctor Qin Ming-Starting from Collection of Injustice.

Song Ci, the originator of forensic medicine in China, had written Collection of Injustice in the Southern Song Dynasty, and put forward the importance of corpse examination for the first time. Qin Ming was very excited when he heard the reporter mention Song Ci, and revealed that his next work would be created through Collection of Injustice.

Qin Ming mentioned that China was the country where forensic medicine first appeared, and Song Ci was not only the originator of forensic medicine in China, but also the pioneer of forensic medicine in the world. Forensic colleagues in China should have the pride of this profession.

"There is no ghost hand after all, and there is a Buddha’s heart in peace." "Ghost hands and Buddha’s heart" is Qin Ming’s most concise description of forensic medicine. Every forensic doctor hopes to solve the mystery and wash away the grievances of the deceased by stripping the cocoon. Through novels and film and television works, the work of forensic doctors in China, represented by the role of forensic doctor Qin Ming, is being understood by more and more people. Forensic work is the embodiment of "artisan spirit", and film creation also needs to create fine works with "artisan spirit". As Qin Ming said, he found similarities between film creation and forensic work.
