"Before the democratic reform, our whole family lived in a cowshed, and we had to carry it ourselves when we were sick, and we were often abused and beaten by serf owners. At that time, our greatest wish was to stop being treated like animals and have a full meal. " Lausanne Pingcuo said emotionally, "After the democratic reform, I entered the school and became a village cadre.
