  Changsha, May 20th (Zhang Yun) The Campus Safety Committee of China Emergency Management Society held a high-level forum on "Social Risk and Campus Governance" at Central South University on the 20th, focusing on the evolution and prevention of social risks in China, the current situation and development direction of campus safety governance.

  On the same day, China Emergency Education and Campus Safety Development Report — — 2017 and China school bullying Survey Report were released at the forum. Among them, the data source of China school bullying Survey Report was jointly released by the Social Risk and Crisis Management Research Center of Nanjing University and the Social Risk Research Center of Central South University.

  Report on Emergency Education and Campus Safety Development in China — — 2017 analyzes the characteristics of campus security incidents, reveals the challenges and development trends of campus security management, and analyzes relevant typical cases from the aspects of school disaster education and emergency preparedness, campus public health and food safety, and school bullying, and puts forward corresponding risk prevention and control suggestions.

  This report points out that the time of campus security incidents is obviously cyclical and seasonal. On the whole, the frequency of campus security incidents in the second half of each year is higher than that in the first half, and campus security incidents occur frequently during holidays, school days and graduation seasons. Specifically, campus violence, school bullying, facility safety, accidental injuries and other incidents are frequent.

  The Investigation Report of China and school bullying pointed out that language bullying is the main form of school bullying. According to school bullying’s classification, the incidence of verbal bullying is significantly higher than that of relationship, body and cyber bullying, accounting for 23.3%.

  The report also indicated that school bullying had the highest incidence of behavior in the central region. According to the sample data of behavior survey in school bullying, the incidence of school bullying behavior among students in the central region is the highest, accounting for 46.23%. And the behavior of school bullying presents a geographical and spatial distribution pattern of "central region > western region > eastern region > northeast region".

  The Campus Safety Committee of China Emergency Management Society has been focusing on the research in the field of campus governance, aiming at improving the theoretical research level and practical work ability of emergency education and campus safety management in China, and providing case materials for exchanges and cooperation in related fields.
